Thai Massage
Helping others to feel better is a great satisfaction. I offer Integrated Thai bodywork and Chi Nei Tsang in Philadelphia. Massage can facilitate the body’s natural tendency toward a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, which we call homeostasis or “feeling good”. I would like to help clients to achieve wellness and keen awareness of their own bodies through massage to achieve a sense of balance and freedom. My work as a dancer, dance teacher, and pilates instructor, has informed my massage practice and understanding of body mechanics, kinetic chains, and training potential.
I started my massage journey with traveling to Chiang Mai, Thailand between 2014 and 2018 to study Thai bodywork. While in Thailand, I completed GTC 300-hour Teacher Training program at Thai Massage School (TMC). I also studied several Thai massage modalities such as Jack Chaiya’s Nerve Touch Technique, Thara massage technique, Tok Sen, Karen Hill, Trigger Point Thai Massage, Reflexology, and Chi Nei Tsang. Back in the USA, I studied between 2017-18 at the Philadelphia School of Massage and Bodywork, 700-hour training in Swedish massage, Sports massage, Trigger Points, Prenatal, and myofascial release among others.
